SEK’s Champion Hoss and his daughter, the next generation of our XL Bullies. Both are lilac tri and show exactly what we aim to produce here at Southern Elite Kennelz: structure, consistency, and real bloodline quality.

Southern Elite Kennelz is built around producing real XL American Bullies with structure, temperament, and presence. This is not a numbers program and it is not focused on trends. Every dog and every breeding is part of a bigger picture. The goal is simple: produce XL Bullies that look the part, move correctly, and have the kind of temperament people actually want to live with. Colors like lilac tri, chocolate tri, champagne, merle, and other variations are produced, but they are not the focus. The dog itself comes first.

XL American Bullies Bred with Purpose

There is a clear difference between throwing dogs together and building a program.

Southern Elite Kennelz focuses on producing balanced dogs with:

Strong bone and structure

Clean movement

Solid temperament

Consistent type

Each breeding is planned to improve on the last one. Nothing is random, and nothing is rushed.

These are dogs that are meant to grow into something, not just look good as puppies.

Health Tested Studs That Set the Standard

The stud dogs play a major role in the direction of the program.

Each male used is selected for what he brings to the table — not just appearance, but structure, presence, temperament, and how he complements or strengthens the females traits.

The goal is consistency. When people see a Southern Elite dog, it should be recognizable.

Planned Breedings That Make Sense

Every breeding is done for a reason. Our planned breedings are based on how the sire and dam complement each other, what traits they bring forward, and what the next generation should look like.

Where It Started

We are an XL Bully breeder in Mississippi. Southern Elite Kennelz was founded in 2017, starting with Bayou Blood’s Zuma.

From that point, the program has been built step by step. Not rushed. Not forced.

Each addition (and keeper) to our program has been chosen with intention, helping shape what our kennel produces today.

Bloodline and Foundation

A real XL Bully program is built through bloodlines behind the program, not shortcuts.

Southern Elite Kennelz has been developed using proven bloodline influence from programs such as Gatorhead Bullies (GHB), Bayou Blood Kennels (BBK), and Bossy Kennels (Bossy blood). These bloodlines contribute to the structure, look, and overall consistency seen in the dogs produced today.

Each generation is built with intention, focusing on keeping the traits that matter – strong bone, clean structure, solid temperament, and true XL Bully type. The goal is not to chase trends, but to continue building a program that produces recognizable, consistent dogs.

This kind of foundation is what allows Southern Elite Kennelz to move forward with direction, not guesswork.

Color Is the Extra, Not the Goal

There is no denying that color turns heads.

Lilac, blue, black, red, chocolate, merle, champagne, tri patterns – all have their place.

But color does not replace structure, temperament, or quality.

At Southern Elite Kennelz, the priority is always the dog first. The color just comes with it.

Built for the Long Term

This is not a quick operation.

Southern Elite Kennelz is focused on building something that lasts – dogs that represent the breed the right way, and a program that gets consistently better over time. That consistency comes from carefully planned breedings and the studs behind the program.

If you are looking for something real, something thought out, a long term breeding program and something you can follow long term, our kennel and XL Bully breeding program is one worth paying attention to.

XL Bully Breeder in Mississippi Built on Real Structure and Consistency

At Southern Elite Kennelz, being an XL Bully breeder in Mississippi means doing things with intention from the ground up. Every dog used in the program is selected for structure, temperament, and how they contribute to the next generation, not just how they look in the moment. The focus has always been on producing consistent XL Bullies that grow into what they’re supposed to be, backed by health testing, proven bloodlines, and carefully planned breedings. That’s what keeps the program moving forward and why the dogs coming out of it continue to speak for themselves.
